About us

MANGOSOUP, LLC is a Central New Jersey-based, traveling event planning company. We specialize in intimate social gatherings, lavish cultural weddings, and impactful non-profit fundraisers and corporate events.

From high-end backyard soirees to classy corporate galas, we do it all. Some of our former clients and sponsors include Macy's, the City of Philadelphia, and the American Cancer Society, just to name a few.

We believe that even the smallest details can have a huge impact, so we work hard to make it all come together for you.

Our Process

A free 30-minute consultation session is organized (in-person, over the phone, or virtually). We want to get to know you, your style, event needs, and decor dreams.
A high-level quote is sent to you for review and approval. After reviewing it, you can decide which services or items you want to edit or enhance.

Please note: This quote will NOT include any design elements, plans, decor setups or images.
Things get a bit more serious - you make a non-refundable deposit (½ of the final cost), and we get to work - a contract and a detailed proposal are sent to you for a review and signature.

At this point we are best of friends, sending late-night design ideas and Pinterest links – and suddenly it is two weeks before your event and you submit the final payment (remaining balance).
Finally, your event occurs without any major hiccups, your friends and family have the best time ever, and you are celebrated for all your efforts! So, we ask you to tell others by submitting an online review, raving about how seamless it was to work with one of Central NJ’s best event planners.

Hi there! I’m L.Alex – the creative soul behind MangoSoupEvents! Based in East Brunswick, NJ, I’m an event planner, decorator, coordinator, and stylist. I'm passionate about designing stunning micro and destination events and everything in between. Whether it’s an intimate celebration close to home or a dream event in a far-off locale, I bring visions to life with flair and finesse. I’ve always had a deep love for traveling, trying new adventurous activities, and savoring delicious seafood—all of which inspire my creativity and fuel my passion for what I do. I also have a soft spot for health care, giving back, helping people, and a quirky obsession with discovering and sharing random facts (you’d be surprised what I’ve learned recently). I pride myself on being resourceful, detail-oriented, and endlessly stylish, with what some would call a penchant for luxury taste. I love combining practicality with elegance to create events that are as seamless as they are unforgettable.
